Really, the TFC diehard part refers mostly to those latter-day fans who threw themselves into MLS but weren’t supporters of anything before Toronto FC and still have trouble sometimes seeing beyond BMO Field. Safe to say you’re not in that category, Rudi!

This article was meant to be fun rather than serious. Except for the part about Eurosnobs, where if anything I took it easy on them.

I like.

I do think there is a new class emerging. In the U.S. they call them MLSnobs (We’re still going to need to call them USL/MLSnobs for a while here yet).

Those that see North American club football as the ultimate form of the sport — better than Europe and better than the national teams. They are similar to the TFC diehards, but not necessarily from Toronto.

Interesting read Don’t quite know where I’d fit in. I’d put myself as a Voyageur, but then with some United wannabe in there.
